In Choosing Dresses

Image
Dresses are ladies’ grave temptations. Aside from shoes and bags, dresses also belong to ladies’ greatest possessions. This is one of the expenses most of the money of women went to. I, for myself as a woman wants to own nice and lovely dresses. My last purchases had been yellow formal dresses to match a motif of a wedding I attended to. Of all the dresses that I acquired, the dress that is unforgettable to me would be the elegantv neck long sleeve split dress I bought for a certain social gathering.       Dresses are made for certain occasions. There are elegant dresses for weddings, social gatherings, church services and other formal occasions. Casual dresses are for day-to-day activities, shopping, meet ups, informal occasions and other activities that doesn’t require formal attire. The chosen dress to wear must suit to what occasion we will attend to, as they say, dress accordingly.        In choosing a  dress , my first criteria is that it should be fit, not too loose

"Sunset is so marvellous that even the Sun itself watches it every day in the reflections of the infinite oceans!" - Mehmet Murat Ildan Truly, sunset is a thing to marvel. Its beauty is unique that captivates us all the time. Fortunate for us, we've been able to find a spot with an overlooking view and a beautiful sunset. It is now our new favorite place at Barugkot, Kimarayag, Pigcawayan, Cotabato with its new name as "Lily's View Cafe".  Since we now visit these often here are some beautiful sunsets we've captured. These are also the time lapse videos of the sunsets

Hang in There!

Hang in there! There is a rainbow after the rain.We are now near to the end of this lockdown. Our new normal would now be different from before because of this corona virus. Regardless of what we have been through we were able to survive it. We endured the one  and a half month of staying at home. Though a lot of recipes had already been cooked, a lot of activities had been made, a lot videos had been posted on social media, a lot of sleep had already been done, a lot of weight had already been gained and lot of things that we have done that we didn’t do before  just to survive this quarantine. We can do it and we will stay resilient and survive this pandemic. Hang in there! We will heal as one. 💕

Bullies in the House

Image
Yes, you’ve read it right. We have bullies in the house - pocket bully, American bully and freakshow bully. Meet our bullies. First is RR, an American bully that was adopted because its former owner doesn't have time for it anymore. From a puppy full of wounds, insect bites, and scared skin, this is now RR.  Meet Beastboy, a pocket bully acquired for rehoming. This is the heaviest among the bullies. Though it looks scary, it is very gentle and sweet. Moira is the sibling of Beastboy. It is currently pregnant and was refrained from any physical activity to avoid miscarriage. Hopefully, it would give birth to healthy and beautiful puppies and would survive giving birth as well. Tyson is a survivor puppy. Its mom died after giving birth to them. It was bottled fed with formula milk up to the time it could now eat solid food. Look how big it is now. Accel, another survivor puppy, the sibling of Tyson, my daughter’s favorite and

Aquarium as Humidifier

Image
This is the latest addition to our house, an aquarium. We have been planning of putting a container with water in our house since we are heavy users of the air conditioner. The air conditioner made our skin dry and cracked. We have observed this because while after staying for dew days in our house in the province, in an air-conditioned room, we have cracked skin in our feet and dry skin. Our neighbor advised us before to put a pail of water next to the air conditioner. So instead of a pail, why not put an aquarium. It would not only serve as a humidifier but as well as a stress reliever. Luckily our nephews had been fond of small fishes. They have spare aquarium glass and air pump. They set it up and donated the fishes. We have koi, guppy and fighting fishes. It still needs some plants and stones. Well, true enough it serves its purpose as a humidifier. We refill the water absorb by the air conditioner every day. This is our aquarium/humidifier. Here is the latest vide

My Miracle 7

Mark 5:21-43   King James Version (KJV) 21  And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea. 22  And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, 23  And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. 24  And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him. 25  And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26  And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 27  When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 28  For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 29  And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her b

Forever Loved, Forever Missed: Chicco

Image
A sudden news came up to me, my niece is calling, crying that my dog is not breathing anymore. Chicco suddenly passed away.         It had been several weeks that I am missing Chicco. We are currently under Enhanced Community Quarantine in the province  due to COVID -19 and we could not go back to the city because of the lockdown. It is almost two months that we are not able to see our dogs. Maybe Chicco missed us so much that it may be the cause of death. Some also says that it might be heatstroke because of the hot weather and the sudden rain. It could be because of its current age because its mother is on the same age when it died.              Chicco is now seven years old and had been my best buddy ever. A dog I missed whenever I am away on travel. I always remember it whenever I see K-9 units in hotels or airports. I remember it whenever I am eating foods with big bones. I even consider missing it if ever I will accept my client's offer of migration
